About Barie · Cookie policy
Four categories, and one of them is empty.
This site sets what it needs to be delivered safely, and asks before anything else. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers and no third-party requests on page load. Everything below is the whole list rather than a representative sample.
Cookies in full
01What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. This page also covers the near-equivalents: local storage, session storage and pixels. Where the distinction does not change what happens to you, we call them all cookies.
This policy covers barie.ai. It does not cover a Barie deployment running inside a customer's own perimeter, which sets its own session behaviour under that customer's control.
02What this site sets
Barie.ai is a marketing site. It does not need to know who you are to work, and it is built that way.
| Category | Purpose | Set without consent? | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice, and protecting forms against abuse | Yes — the site cannot be delivered safely without them | Session, or 12 months for the consent record |
| Preferences | Remembering choices you made on the page, such as a reduced-motion preference | Yes, where you set the preference yourself | 12 months |
| Analytics | Aggregate counts of which pages are read and which are not | No — only after you accept | 14 months |
| Advertising | — | We set none | — |
There are no advertising cookies on this site, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no third-party social embeds that set one on load. Declining analytics does not degrade anything: every page works identically either way.
03The calculators keep nothing
The savings calculator and the compact version on the pricing page compute entirely in your browser. The headcount and seat rate you type are never sent to us, are not stored in a cookie, and are gone when you close the tab.
04Changing your mind
As this site currently stands, no analytics cookie is set, so there is nothing to refuse. If that changes, the choice will be asked for before anything is set, and you will be able to change it at any time. Either way:
- Clearing cookies for barie.ai in your browser resets every choice to the default of ‘necessary only’.
- A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is honoured as a refusal of analytics, so no further action is needed from you.
- Withdrawing consent takes effect on the next page load rather than at some later point.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies through your browser is your right, but parts of the site will not behave correctly, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
05Third parties
Where an analytics provider is used, it is configured to store data in the region it was collected in, to truncate IP addresses before storage, and not to combine what it sees here with data from any other site. It is bound as a processor and may not use the data for its own purposes.
Fonts are self-hosted. Nothing on this site requests a font, a script or an image from a third-party CDN, which means no third party learns you visited by virtue of the page loading. For a company selling data sovereignty this is the minimum, not a feature.
06Changes to this policy
If we add a cookie category, this table changes before the cookie is set, not after. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
Questions about anything here go to our privacy team, and are answered by a person.
Own your intelligence.
If your privacy team wants the full cookie register and the processor list, ask and we will send both.
