Process documentation and design libraries queried where they live, with the fab boundary as the security boundary.
Controlled technical data analysed without a transfer. The compliance question never becomes an export question.
In the lab
Qualification evidence, tolerance history and failure analysis are all in the archive somewhere. Engineers rebuild the work instead, because searching thirty years of drawings reliably costs more than repeating the experiment, and the rebuilt work is rarely cheaper than the original.
Revision C compared against the qualified baseline and the 2019 test archive.

A worked example, under export control
Engineers were rebuilding qualification work rather than risk an upload. Here is what it looks like when the designs could be analysed where they already sat.
Challenge
Decades of process IP and chip designs are the whole company. Export control sharpens the question: not just who sees a file, but which jurisdiction it entered. A single upload to a public model was an unacceptable risk.
Solution
With Barie the file never moves. Engineers analyse designs and process documents on the firm’s own infrastructure, under export-compliant controls, with an immutable record of every access, so the IP stays put and the work still gets done.
Why it survives export review
Controlled technical data is governed by where it goes, not by who promises to look after it. Barie removes the transfer entirely, which means the export question never has to be asked, and no engineer has to decide whether an upload is defensible.
Analysis happens on the machine the file already sits on. No controlled data is transferred anywhere in order to be processed.
Deploys onto plant-floor and fab infrastructure, not only the corporate data centre, so the analysis happens on the side of the boundary the data is already on.
An immutable record of every controlled file touched, by whom and on which machine, and evidence that none of it left the facility.
Where inference physically runs is covered on the Platform page.
See Barie running inside your own facility, on your own designs, without a file leaving the building.
